The Architecture Museum of Malaysia is one of several museum visits you can make on Jalan Kota Street which runs along the bottom of St. Paul’s Hill just back Dutch Square. This museum is another specialist museum, providing two floors and a 5-6 rooms that can be visited in 15-30 minutes. You will like to watch the short video on the ground floor as well as the model Malay style houses and buildings on the display. However, like other museums along Jalan Kota, you may found the displays ‘overly texty’ and lacking creativity in delivery. As such, while potentially enjoyable to architects and those with some interest in this profession or hobby, others will find this museum a bit dry and be ready to move on quite quickly after entering. If you love architecture and you are keen on learning about the Malaysian then this is the museum for you. It is very informative!
