Baba-Nonya Heritage Museum is an interesting place on two levels. They did very well with the conservation of the place; everything was set up like it hasn’t changed for a century. This house belongs to a wealthy Baba Nyonya family. Besides gaining insights to the culture and unique lifestyle of their family, you’ll also get to know the family portraits and the furniture.
You need to ring and gain access to the museum. Then you’ll need to wait for the group tour to begin in order to get all the interesting facts and stories from a guide. Photography is not allowed. You are also welcomed to buy original and cheap handicrafts. The museum is open 7 days a week and the entrance fee is RM15 per adult and RM10 per child.

This museum showcases objects and arts illustrating the wide cultural diversity of Malaysia. The guide will be leading you through vast house, explaining the place’s history and that of its early occupants. The guided tour will be lasting for 1 hour but you won’t realise how fast time runs out being under this museum’s roof.
