Established in 1998, Avillion Legacy Hotel is a major crowd-puller round the year and is in close proximity to Mahkota Parade, Jusco, Jonker Walk and Dataran Pahlawan. Inspired from the city’s colonial history, the interior of the hotel features classic Roman pillars and a glass dome lobby.
The hotel houses 228 fully air-conditioned rooms with each of them equipped with satellite TVs, Wi-Fi connectivity, coffee/tea making facilities, in-room safe, direct-dial phone, mini bar etc. Other hotel facilities include outdoor swimming pool, a bar, coffee shop, laundry facilities, currency exchange, free car parking, banquet facilities and 24-hr room service.

We stayed in the legacy hotel for 2 nights; we went there for New Year celebrations. Simple hotel except the exteriors of the hotel which looks really majestic. The location is bit out of the city centre so you will need to take a taxi ride to get to the city centre. Except this little detail the stay was relaxing and good.
