Performance in Ship Inspired Stage

The exterior design of the theater is the famous Bahtera Merdeka ship. The stage is on the deck and audience seating is in the ship. This ship inspired stage will give a real feeling sailing with the sailor!

The show is performed on a to-scale reconstruction of Bahtera Merdeka ship. Melaka used to be a well-known port so enjoying the show in the ship-inspired stage takes you back to history.

The front seating is wet area. Raincoat will be provided free of charge. You are not allowed to take any videos or photos of the show due to copyright. We recommend to sit at the wet area to enjoy the show to the max!

Spectacular Performance

Panglima Awang, said by many to be the first man to circumnavigate the world, is the leading role of the show, telling the history of Melaka from the arrival of Parameswara to the current Melaka.

During the 30 minutes show, you will not only be immersing in the visual effect, but also get to know about different era of Melaka from the founding of Melaka, the marriage between Hang Li Po and Sultan Manshur Shah to the colonial era. The spirit of Melaka people will leave you a deep impression.

The production team has successfully made the history alive with the acting and dancing in combination with interactive visual experience. You will be touched by these Malaysian performers as you will see passion in their performance.

This is a very meaningful show and recommended for family activity and is a must visit when you are in Melaka.
