Located between the states of Melaka and Johor, this mountain offers a variety of activities. Visitors can hike from Asahan, Melaka and descend from Ledang, Johor. Along the way, there are spots where one can pitch their tents and enjoy their nights. Visitors can also have their picnics as well as pitch their tents at the base of the mountain. There is an enchanting legend about this mountain which dates back to the Malacca Sultanate. There are two entrances to the waterfall area: “Gate A” and “Gate B”. Gate B is for the climbers who want to “summit” gate A is for ordinary people who want to see a cool waterfall in some jungle, and is willing to invest in a 30 minute climb up some crude but well built natural rock stairs. The waterfalls themselves are nice but not enormous or particularly high, but it’s well worth a day trip out of Melaka City.

Amazing site marred with human intrusion. Yes, there was filth everywhere and it was hard to ignore. That said, the site is beautiful much like you must heard or read in stories. One gate is for adventurers who want to trek and the other is for normal sightseeing and enjoying waterfall.
